The Classy Jewel
Brunau
I met Tina in our showroom many years ago. She had just moved to Zurich to a house she had furnished from Finland. Unfortunately, she was not satisfied with her interior choice. Therefore, she invited me to visit her new home. She initially hired me to take care of the guest bedroom, but she promised to renovate the rest of the house later.
A few years later I took care of the restyling of the rest of her residence, and, in the meantime, a real friendship was born between us.
The layout we came up with was a dream of soft blue tones mixed with antiques and art. I designed the sofas and made them in a small upholstery factory in London. We have granted her greatest wish by installing a bench by the window where she loves to sit and sip her morning tea while watching the birds dance in her garden.
The beautifully draped fringed curtains have been tied with elegant tassels and rounded off perfectly with Roman blinds.
The result we have achieved is a place of effortless class, an elegant metamorphosis in which fabrics, contemporary art, and the blend of antique furniture have been the key.
