The Zurich Apartment
Zürich
The goal of this project in the heart of Zurich Old Town was to create spaces that were stylish yet timeless, graceful yet with a well-defined personality. There is a play with materials, graphic shapes, pops of color, and fun prints. Everything has been designed to make this home a fun and cheerful space to live in.
Julie came to our shop on a Saturday. Right away I liked her and her soothing charisma. What started with a small purchase ended up in the complete furnishing of her apartment and the extension of its dressing room. Julie likes bright, bold colors. She likes to invite people over and therefore wanted sufficient seating.
I have opted for a mix of a cozy wooden dining table with blush velvet chairs and lots of flexible seating like poufs. The green, blue, and pink color palette, together with the furnishings were intended to reflect Julie’s feminine yet very professional business style. The entrance area with the two wicker chairs, the modern blue dresser, and the special coffee table let the business talk flow. I have carefully selected each piece of furniture. Julie liked my layout from the very first moment and commissioned everything straight away without any changes.
This project is a clear example that it is not necessary to have a hall of many meters to enjoy a pleasant and glamorous setting.
